Dark, oily wrapper that feels soft but smokes firm. Excellent medium to full body that has a creamy texture and an easy draw till the end. Ash is firm and solid white until the last. Definitely worth the money.

"Not Quite"
I have to agree with the last rater, "jcu0155," who said, "If your looking for a really good cigar this ain't it." Now I scored it a little higher, maybe because it stayed in my humidor for over 2 years. I'd have to give it a "C+". Even if you account for it being a Puros Indos, it's still not very attractive. The taste is good, but nothing unforgetable. I'd spend my money elsewhere.

"Kinda OK ????"
I hated the first 2 or 3 of these I smoked but kept going back..Don't know if I just got used to them or had some badly stored ones..This cigar is not pretty or super favorable and the burn is often uneven ,but has great aroma and no bite..So far not so good,, but for some reason they kinda grew on me a little ..Bottom line if your looking for a relay good cigar this ain't it ..But for the golf course when your thinking about something else they will do and no great loss if you forget it at the tee box

"started out average but got better"
aged 7 months-appearance-the wrapper was real spotty but still attractive.construction-the construction was good it burned a little uneven but not extremely bad.the draw was a little hard to deal with at the beginning but got better as it was smoked.flavor-it was nothing better than average at the start but picked up at the half way point.still it was not very complex.pretty straight forward hints of cedar.not really anything else about it.value-i would have to say its worth what you pay.and thats about all you'll get.overall-id say it was average quality, construction and flavor.alot better out there for even the same price.i was dissapointed id heard alot of good things about puros indios.

"Fabulous with age"
I've got a few left from a box I bought maybe 10 years ago. They have aged into a very complex and seductive smoke. The flavor starts off toasty and charry with a spicey aroma. 2nd half the complexity shows and there are flavors of mint, orange peel, a hint of clove and jasmine. When they were young they were very vegetal, in a good way, but now they have become more floral and much better. A gem.

"Enjoyable"
This stick was good from start to finish. Good, not great. Construction and burn were above par, but the flavor and finish need a little help. Smokers of milder lines may find this a nice compromise to medium smokes and should completely enjoy it.

"Meh...."
I had heard a lot of good things about Puros Indios so i ordered a 5 pack. I found it a bit of a letdown. Its a nice mild smoke but quite flavorless as well. Even as I got closer to the last 1/3rd it didn't change. Maybe I got a few duds, who knows.

"You can depend on it"
Got a deal on a box of 20 sometime ago, 8 months later only 1 remains and I'm hesitant to smoke it because it's the last one. I'm a guy who can't stand to smoke 2 of the same cigars in month in most cases, but I got hooked on these guys. With just a little humi time the seem to have a nice, tangy, almost cedary flavor. After 6+ months it richened into more like fine mahogany if I can describe a cigar that way. Just delicious. I've heard rumors that Rolando Reyes Sr. inspects every single stick after the rollers have left for the evening, now thats what I call quality control, and I could believe it with the unmistakeable consistence of the Puros Indios, not a single bad one have I smoked out of the bunch. The only thing I can't say I'm not a fan of is the strangely colored and inconsistent looking wrapper, but you can't judge a book by looking at the cover.

"Premium cigar, pedestrian price"
A very good cigar. It is medium bodied, but very tasty. It has a nice smooth and even burn. The construction is top notch. If you enjoy other cigars from the Rolondo Reyes family, you wll not be disappointed by this Puros Indios offering. And the low price is just icing on the cake.

"Excellent Mild to Medium Bodied Smoke"
I have always really enjoyed this smoke when I am looking for a mild to medium bodied stick. I know it can be found for cheaper than what I paid and in my book it is an excellent value. Unlike others apparently, I've never had any construction, burn, flakey ash problems. The burn has been consistent, lots of smoke and a tangy, sweetness in flavor. It could offer a bit more complexity but for the money, it makes a real nice choice in a mild smoke, IMHO.

"Good morning and afternoon smoke"
Other than a few construction and burn issues this was good cigar. Light spice with a touch of coffee and something else I can't put my finger, whatever it is I like. A touch to the mild side of medium bodied smoke that delivered plenty of smoke and settled down toward the end as far as construction is concerned and very pleasant most of the way thru. A gift from a young gorilla at CS. Thanks Patrick.

"VERY TASTY TANGY TREAT UNDER 3 BUCKS"
This cigar certainly does not lack in flavor. Well rolled, burned nice and even. Loaded with a mixture of flavors, ranging from coffee to very tangy fruit. Some may find it too tangy, almost like a sour, tart, citrus fruit taste. I happen to like this kind of flavor, and very much enjoyed this cigar. Medium body. If you enjoy a strong citrus type of flavor, a must try.

"Has potential, but way too bitter"
This cigar has a lot going for it, but for me it was too bitter and harsh. On the plus side, the ecuadorian wrapper tastes great, and the overall burn and draw was flawless.
Unfortunately this cigar suffers from way too much bitterness and is a strong, harsh smoke. It doesn't improve as you go down; it only gets worse. You can really taste the Mexican filler in it. This is a bitter smoke.
I bet with aging this cigar has potential, but the filler should be changed. It's way too harsh for the average smoker.

"Burnt to a crisp."
That's how my mouth tasted after this one. Desperate with only a five dollar bill in pocket, I purchased this one from an overpriced mall peddler; a scamster. At first light, I was overwhelmed by an ashy taste, which is fairly common upon first light. "Give her some time," I told myself, "she'll warm up." Well sadly, she didn't. The ashy taste was ever so present thoughout the 30 or so minutes I lasted with this robust hog. Frusterated, I pitched it. Then came the aftertaste. What a shock- more ashiness! I thought this cigar tasted like one that had been halfway smoked, extinguished, then re-lit the following morning. (Yes, in a drunken stupor, I've done that.) Reading some of the other reviews on here, I can only conclude that I was perhaps given a counterfeit PI, from that scamming, weasel of a vendor in that mall.

"Decent but nothing special"
The appearance, burn were very good, but the horribly flaky ash annoyed the heck out of me. The flavors were medium in body, with slightly sweetish and slightly "stinky stogie" tones over a leathery core. It turned horribly bitter at 2.5" and I discarded the rest. Maybe this was a bad stick, but I can't recommend them based on the price and performance of this and a couple of other Puros Indios.

"Pretty Average"
I actually went out of my way to find this cigar as a single, since I have some of the "Special Aged" Pyramides and wanted some measure of comparison. Granted this is a much smaller vitola, but the blend has to be close in flavor. The taste was OK, but it gave out at the halfway point. There was some harshness as well, although it wasn't too bad. All in all, it was pretty mediocre. Hope those 'special' ones are better--with MSRP around $50 for a half dozen, they had better be.
