Davidoff 2000

Davidoff may be overpriced, but the 2000 is one of the few exceptions. Some may say that Davidoff is too mild of a smoke, but unfortunately those people probably smoke hoyo de nicaragua and other bold crap. With sweet honey and carmel tastes about 1/2 way down, this cigar is fabulous. A great morning cigar. Also good for whenever you might not have the time for more.

A genuinely good cigar. Veteran smokers may complain that they are too mild, but the Davidoff 2000's excellent construction, fine flavor, and smooth, even burn put it in my top two or three. The flavor is buttery and gentle and lacks acrid notes even in the last few puffs. The nicotine load is light for its size, allowing even novice smokers to enjoy the entire stick (and perhaps giving a welcome break to box-a-day men). The construction is sturdy and fairly tight-wrapped, requiring a deeper cut for a full draw. This allows the stick to support a good inch and a half of ash, if not more. Overall, highly recommended. If you've smoked a D2000 and liked it, try a Butera.

The cigar world is full of cheap, mild, Dominican filler Connecticut wrapper cigars. These do nothing to elevate themselves above the masses. No surprises, typical mild CT wrap flavor and aroma.

Very good mild smoke and always burns evenly. The only issue I have found with liking the Davidoff cigars is that they are sometimes hard to find in shops. You almost have to order them if you are not in a major metropolitan area.

Mild and smalll but packed with a nice light flavor. You need to smoke at least one to understand.

I had tried all the new Davidoff series cigars and all of them I thought were terrible until I smoked a '2000'. What a wonderful cigar. Couldn't ask for more. Taste, construction, and draw are subperb. This is a cigar you could smoke all day and the last one in the evening would be just as good as the first one in the morning.
