"cigar with a punch"
This cigar comes out swining, but settles down after about an inch into it. Great looking dark oily wrapper and the chisel was so easy to draw on, it was almost effortless. Spot on draw and burn, with lots of creamy smoke. Produced a long white ash. Flavors were great and not too harsh. Great smoke at a great price. I will buy more.

"At $4 I'd be a believer, but..."
Delicious looking dark, oily wrapper. Firm draw, nearing the point of annoyance. But otherwise there's nothing not to like. It's a spicy stick right out of the gate. First half featured a peppery blast followed by a long, surprisingly soft and bready finish. Second half turns one-dimensional, perhaps too strong for its own good. At $4 or so, I'd keep a box of these around. At $6, though, the occasional single will have to do.

"power house"
A strong ligero stick. Stored at a lower humidity, this stick will burn perfect. The construction was fantastic. A really full bodied smoke. Excellent pre light aromas. Once lit, a lot of powerful tobacco flavors jump out. Some charry wood with some rich leathery flavors on the finish. Will improve greatly with age (mine was only 1 month old). Cut with a punch at the top of the chisel tip (the smoke hits your palate first) and you will get the best results flavor wise. A fantastic smoke for the seasoned smoker.

"First Rate."
Crisp, dry and sharp without being bitter, like a strong white wine. Very strong smoke with a medium to full flavor. I, unlike a previous reviewer, do feel that the Camacho Diploma is stronger and more flavorful than this one, but this is a terrific cigar, espescially for the very reasonable price. Construction was excelent. I did have to correct the burn a couple of times, but I was smoking it in a strong wind, so I can't complain.

"Superb!"
Just had a Chisel Gorda ( natural ) from a year old box. It may very well have been one of the most enjoyable smokes I've had---and that takes in a lot of fine cigars from all over. The cigar was solid and beautifully made. The draw and burn were dead on. The smoke was med+, sweet and tangy and comfortable for at least an hour. A long finish too. These are terrific smokes when they're on. And they're reasonably priced.

"Yikes"
I found this cigar to be very generic tasting. Perhaps it could have used more age as i experianced a little cold sweat despite my full stomach and experiance with full bodied smokes. THis cigar was harsh and nothing more the 'smokey' in flavor. Nice construction though, the cap almost made it worth it

"Among The Best"
I like a full bodied, favorful cigar and have been regularly smoking Camacho Diplomas as my "go to" stick. The Diplomas are now on the bench as the Chisel Gorda exceeds both in strength and in flavor. Love'em!

"more time"
This stick could have used more time in the humi. The foot lit uneven and held a very dark ash. I had some trouble keeping it lit, with some bad spots that could not have helped. The notes were harsh all the way with no big flavor. Just needed more time to age.

"DOUBLE Ligero"
I like the chisel shape, it cut well and was nicely constructed. Started out harsh but settled down quickly, this is a strong smoke both in terms of flavor and buzz. The tatste was one dimensional and constant but was never harsh after it settled down. The flavor was straight foward tobaco slightly bitter but pleasantly so. It tastes good, so good that you want to smoke down to the nub where you get all the concentrated nicotine and then BAM, even on a full stomach you need to get up and walk it off.

"excellent"
This is one of the best cigars I have ever smoked. It is excellent right from the tobacconist and does not need to age. The rapper is silky and construction is perfect. Flavor of the cigar is truly outstanding. It is rich, creamy, soft and round with well balanced strength. The aroma is equally outstanding and adds considerably to the overall impression of this cigar. The aroma is soft with strong hints of vanilla with overtones of bourbon whisky. Unlike some cigars the aroma clings like fine cologne and is unobtrusive and pleasant. Finish though not light is excellent. This cigar would pair very well with a gin martini with an olive or while eating salted nuts. A great after dinner cigar.

This one started of fairly harsh, then went smooth after 5 minutes or so. It had a very uneven burn, but the flavor saved it.

"Very Different...."
Very good powerful cigar. Strong and a little harsh at the start and evened out for a good smoke. The chisel tip made this stick hard to enjoy. I wasn't particularly fond of the tip, but I will give it another try because the cigar is worth another shot.

"Interesting Smoke"
Tried one on the advice of my tobacconist. Started off very harsh, almost put it down. After the first 1/3 it was like a different stick. Very smooth, good flavor. Good draw, uneven burn. I'll try another.
