"revisit"
Pulled another out of the humidor last night, orginal box from 2004 (?). Fantastic!! Probably time for another box, as there are 5 or 6 left. Thanks Litto!

"WOW!!"
3 years of aging on this stick, and it is terrific! Rich tobacco taste, smooth flavor despite a definite punch. Construction the usual LF.........great.

"Wish I hadn't smoked any until....."
Now this cigar is down right awesome. Starts strong and smoothes out through the first two thirds delivering great flavor and a trouble free burn. I wish I had aged them all 2 years before smoking.

"Nice smoke"
Great looking, spicy start, draw improves and has some minor burn issues. Mellows out, a very enjoyable smoke.

"Good to the bone but bigger"
wonderful Oily wraper, perfect draw, tons of flavor with sweet undertones. This stick looks just the way I like them, and follows through with a nearly perfect smoking experience!

"Someone said..."
A cigar should be aged to smoke right out of the box and some are. The question is do you want to pay for the privilege. When a manufacturer spends his time, warehouse space and retains inventory for a year instead of 3 to 6 months, someone is going to make it worth his while. Guess who? That being said, over a year in the box has done great things for this smoke. The flavors have rounded out and the peppery spice is still plentiful. The sweetness now blends with the spice instead of seeming out of place. There's a smoothness now that wasn't in the first I reviewed and if you take it easy it will last a couple of hours.

"I love spice"
WOW what a spicy big smoke. I loved it. Long slow burn with a ton of spice and loads of black pepper too. Very nice construction and a good burn only a little uneven at times, but not a problem. I personally enjoyed the big size of this smoke makes for a great draw. I will be getting more of these.

"Beautiful Smoke"
Beautiful deep red/brown wrapper which, unfortunately started to blossom at the foot while in my humidor. Like many other reviews, my smoke was a medium rather than full and lasted just over 90 minutes! Somewhat sweet with a very attractive odor, great draw and nice kick of spice. Among my very favorites and at 6 bucks was totally worth the price of admission!

"Pepper, pepper and more pepper."
The wrapper is intriguing (I smoke the oscuro version of the L500), looking more like dark brown/red marble than tobacco. Construction was superb with no soft spots or other defects. The draw is smooth and the smoke loads the palette with an impressive amount of black pepper and spice. Being that I am a huge fan of black pepper on my steak and veggies, this cigar is a natural winner in my book.

"Loved it"
This is a really good looking cigar that burns well and has a lot of kick. Great for after dinner when you have plenty of time. Not something you'd want to smoke too quickly or it will knock you out.

"A fatty"
Spicy big bastage. In your face spice that burnt to perfection. A little to big for me though. I'll probably opt for a smaller size in the future but it was very good, did I mention it was spicy? I liked it alot.

"Fat Boy!"
This is a fat cigar. It has a beautiful wrapper, that when illuminated by the sun looks kind of dark red. The draw was easy and results in lots of smoke. The flavor is a little spicey, but I didn't taste the sweetness that some of the reviews mention. Once you get past the size of this stick in your mouth, it is not a bad cigar.

"Well made"
for a fat boy it's construction and draw are top notch. The strength is good and the flavor is pleasant and slightly sweet but leaves something to be desired. Glad I only paid about 60% of retail. I think these will age well. Time will tell.

"Packs a punch"
This is a fat little sucker. Well crafted, good draw, plentiful aromatic smoke. Packs a powerful punch, had to put it down halfway through. IMOHO this is more of a full flavored cigar, not medium. Goes great with an expresso!

"double ligero........small case"
These are wonderfully constructed sticks, with very smooth taste and draw. Medium body and power, so one needs to remember that this is a strong Dominican, and not a Nicaraguan cigar. Sniff out a good discount, and pay no more than $3 each.

"one of the best"
Great draw, flavor and aroma! Not as strong as I had anticipated, actually just right. Will buy a box once I have room in the humidor. Tried the L400 and the Chisel, this is my favorite of the Ligero so far.

"wasted potential"
Boy did I get excited about this cigar. It is beautifully wrapped with a wrapper that is as silky as the inner thigh of a beautiful Latin woman. But dam'it the flavor was not up to the remarkable wrapper and construction. Flavor was flat, dry and bland. What wasted potential.
