"DL 700 Maduro"
I love the DL 700, so I tried the DL Maduro... damn, strongest cigar I have ever smoked.. a factor above the Joya De Nic Antano 6x60...wonderful smoke.

"Milder than expected"
My wife was out of town so I setteled in for a quiet evening with a nockout cigar and a nice stiff drink. So my choice was a DL-700 . The prelight aroma was rich and semi sweet, the construction was solid and tasting the cap a nice pepper hint. But at light up it went nowhere. I was a nice mild smoke not a lot of complexity of problems but it was not a cigar to devote any time to. For the price Go with the Partagas Black about the same size and a lot richer.

Good looking stick with that good ligero taste. Required a few touch ups and possessed good draw characteristics.

"strong"
This cigar shows how well Litto Gomez can create a full-bodied cigar. This is not to over powering but i agree you should not smoke on an empty stomach. The flavor is very consistant, strong threw out. I didn't feel the cigar picked up much in the body because it was strong when just lit. Very beautial wrapper, dark and oily, just a little to many lumps. I had a few burn issues but could have been the bullet cut. overall very a near two hour experience.

"Not sure about it"
This is one of the most beautiful cigars I've seen in a while. Dark and imposing and for such a thick cigar it's very well made. The draw and burn are superb. The flavor though left me unsatisfied as it starts mildly spicy and it pretty much stays the same through the end of the cigar. There was none of the complexity of flavors that I was looking forward to and in the end it wasn't even that strong.

"Just Great"
One thing I really never hear anyone talk about with these or the DL 660's is the INCREDIBLE pre-light taste and aroma. Sweet, middle-east spices (curry in particular) and cedar are all there. I usually wait 5 min or so to light just to enjoy this taste. Oh yeah, once lit they are just great. Similar flavors as described above.

"in my top 5"
I love this stick. Full flavored and full bodied without grittiness.Minerals, spice and a subtle occasional sweetness. Complex. Minor burn issues here and there which detracts from my overall experience rating. A robust and complex full flavored cigar without being obnoxious.

"Light but pleasant"
Perfectly unknown to me until a nice tobacconist in Miami Beach advised me, this LFD Double Ligero is true to its name but tasteful and, of course, very smooth. Well made and nice looking too, with a easy but pleasant draw.

"Great Cigars"
I have been smoking these for a few months and I love them. Overall a great smoke, but you gotta love a good smoke with these. I have a fair amount of uneven burns but that doesn't outweight the great flavor. And I agree I smoked one on an empty stomach and I wouldn't suggest this to any one else.

"My baby"
I have smoked this cigar, almost every single day after work, for the last year+. It is always well made, it often does have an uneven burn, the taste is ALWAYS the same: Strong, but smooth. On strong taste, I should say this: it means 1 of 2 things: 1) has to do with TASTE and 2) has to do with the richness not of taste, but of the SMOKE itself. In terms of 2), this is a powerhouse, as all double L's, unfound in other cigars. It is like a homemade meal: the smoke does not taste heavy, IT IS HEAVY. It has a kind of spicy taste, but there other more complex cigars (esp. by La Flor), but as I said the texture of the smoke itself can not be found. If I go on and on about the texture of the smoke, and how it is physically heavy, it is because few people know what it is and if you get used to it, all other cigars will seem light, and most too too light.
Warning, at first this cigar will get you lightheaded or high. Now it happens to me only once and a while. P.S. I only takes me 1.5 hours to finish this cigar, to give you an idea of how quick I smoke.

"Good...but short of great"
I picked this up at Jack Schwartz's (in the Chicago Board of Trade) where the local gurus gave it their thumbs up. Cool. I jumped in a cab and joined a buddy over at Sullivans Steakhouse to enjoy the White Sox game, have a nice piece of aged beef, some vino and a great cigar. This was tasty...bold, complex flavor profile (not as overpowering as the VSG) with a short, spicy finish. I did have to relight a few times...but overall, I was pleased. Factor in the price and you have a winner. Not Hall of Fame...but darned good.

"Gotta' Love It"
One of my two favorite cigars right now, (the other being the Camacho Corojo). Impressive as hell just laying up in the box at the local tobacconist. It says, smoke me if you dare. Smoking my second one right now. Big, full bodied, good construction, nice burn with white compact ash. Balance of spice and wood throughout. Straight ahead, not a complex cigar. A great cigar with attitude and taste. Gotta' love it.

"Da Fatty!"
I had three hours to kill, so ponied up $8.00 at a local shop. (Yah, I know they are cheaper online) This is the first cigar I have smoked where the veins did not ruin the presentation. In fact, I could of picked others that did not have them, but it almost seemed patterned with the roll.
The finish is incredible! Definitely a spice to it, but not overbearing. It lingers long enough for you to appreciate without overwhelming your palate. Towards the middle of the gar, I noted hints of wood and leather. As stated earlier, not for the newbie or mild lover. This Fatty Is Recommended!

"Wow!! Great smoke."
I bought my first one as an incentive with a lighter by pure chance. Wish I was as lucky at the lottery. If you like stronger but top quality cigars you've got to try this one. Its an all around great smoke. I do shop for a good price, but always have some LFD Double Ligeros in the humidor.

"BIG GUN"
These are great!!! Spicy bite off the start, then 1 inch in it smooths out to a bold fairly strong smoke. The last 2-3 inches is a real butt kicker, so do not smoke it on an empty stomach!!

"Goodnight"
Powerful smoke. Big meaty cigar with an attractive wrapper. Wonderful burn and construction. Cool smoke the whole way through (I nubbed it). Good spicy flavor, nothing overly complex and it didnt change much as I smoked it down. Allow yourself plenty of time for this cigar. Im a notoriously quick smoker, and I think this one took me about 2.5 hours (margin of error is 4 hours due to the buzz).
