La Fontana Vintage Da Vinci

On a business trip in North Jersey, I picked one of these up at a B&M and I think it may have been a little young. I could taste the nice, mild spice that I usually find in this line, but there was also that bitterness and almost ammonia-like smell that comes from a relatively young cigar. I prefer the Galileo and Puccini from this line, but at the price ( I mentioned N. Jersey because I had to pay $4.60, where normally I can get these fo under four dollars where I live in PA), the Vintage line is, in my opinion a steal. It is a great mild cigar, and should be put into your rotation as a go-to mild cigar for everyday smoking, unless you can afford to smoke super-premiums on a daily basis. Draw was perfect, and the burn was razor-sharp. Another group of pluses for this cigar at such a great price. I did knock a couple of points in the flavor and overall categories off for that bitter undertone, as I can't say for sure that the cigar was that new, and that that was the culprit.
