Does Macanudo have an American cardboard subsidiary from which to supply their fillers???

"Great Smoke"
I love the maduro version of this cigar. It goes great with a pot of dark roast coffee in the morning. Flavorful and balanced. This figurado rocks.

"Better than expected"
Quality construction, a little bit of a tight draw, but not cumbersome. CAO like? Profound notes of cedar and sweetness. Smooth and light-medium body. People have a tendency to under value because Macanudos are a bit like the coca-cola of the cigar world. Perhaps not overly complex, and certainly not robust, but very enjoyable, unpretentious smoke. Fun shape and more quality than expected. Solid cigar that I will seek out in the future.

"Anytime, anyday cigar"
I smoked this ciagr straight from the shop. The shape speaks for itself. The constuction appears solid, the wrapper can appear a bit shaky, may be due to all the curves. The flavor was mild with random sweet tones throughout. The cigar is a decent value for the taste, a great value if you want people to notice cigar from looks alone. I really enjoyed this cigar. I have 2 ageing in my humidor with some vanilla pipe tobacco. I'll write another review once these have aged.

"Plain cigar"
Looks great and I thought I was in for a taste treat but really disappointing. Not much flavor and I was really disappointed.

"what a smoke"
I am enjoying one of these gems as i write this review and what a truly enjoyable experience the last hour has been. From the moment i took it out of it's cello wrapper i knew i was looking at a high class cigar, smooth wrapper, nice and tight (yet an easy draw)sweet pre-light aroma.First third was mild and mellow as was the second. After taste was of cedar with some sweetness, plumes of mellow sweet smoke with no bitterness even in the final third, as do most other cigars that i have smoked, firm white ash which held for 2 inches.the best Maduro I have smoked for some time.A small burn problem but all up a damn fine smoke.,which lasted almost 1 1/2 hours (approx).well worth the $14 I paid for it.

"Great Gar"
Unlike the other reviews.....I thought it was great, excellent flavor, burned perfect. At first I thought it drew a little hard, but not to bad. I would recommend.

"Smoked a wet paper sack in a sauna"
Smoked a wet paper sack in a sauna! This is for a beginner. Loose draw for first inch then it hot boxed. However, wonderful ash.

"Probably not a fair representation..."
I'm not sure how much of my lack of enjoyment of this cigar came from the fact that I think I was given it already stale. I kept it in the humidor for two months give or take but it never really moistened up and come back to life. As other reviewers have said though, it does burn rather unevenly and the draw was way tighter than it should have been. The flavor is somewhat savory and mellow and hinted to a potential greatness in the line, but never really won me over. I've got a Mac Robust up next in the humi and it seems to be much more ready and willing to be smoked! Fingers crossed!

"As Expected...."
Purchased 5 of these from Nice Ash and the fiist one lit, burnt well with rich aromas. Taste was true to Maduro being earthy and smooth. Will age for a bit in the humidor and try again. Good cigar.

"Enjoyed it"
These were passed out at a friend's wedding last week. I don't much care for Macanudos, they don't do much for me either way, but this was the first Maduro I had. I enjoyed it, no burn problems and it had a good draw. Lots of smoke and a solid flavor, but nothing spectacular.

"Only for maduro fans"
A short, chubby figurado. Has a decent draw, but burns very unevenly and requires relighting, problems i would attribute to its unusual shape. Has the earthy flavors expected of a maduro, with notes of nuts and dry toast. The finish is long and tangy.

"Time"
This stick was in my humi for 3 years and man it did this stick right. The foot lit well and had some uneven burn but it did not hurt the smoke. The notes were of a nutty cedary foavor with a good finish, I guess time can make things good.

"A "B" Cigar"
Flavor seemed to come and go, burn was a bit and hot at times, inconsistent, nice looking, well made. Certainly OK but there are better choices.

"Decent cigar"
I received one of these free and thought it had good flavor and a good smoke. This was not my flavor or taste for cigars, but I still think it was a good smoke.

"great cigar"
I love the way this cigar tastes and looks....very flavorful with a hint of dark chocolate. Only problem I've had is that some have a tight draw--other than that a great cigar.
