Macanudo Robust Duke of Devon

FINALLY A MEDIUM TO FULL FLAVORED CIGAR FROM MACANUDO. ALMOST AS GOOD AS A "DON CARLOS" AT 1/2 THE PRICE ! GREAT EVERYDAY CIGAR.

This Mac Robust was from a 2001 Cigar of the Month Sampler, and the blend may have since been changed. Well rolled, nice draw. Flavors ranging from cocoa and coffee, to nuts and very tangy fruit. Smooth. A very nice cigar.

Excellent construction, with superb draw, burn, and ash. As with most domestics, what strength this cigar has comes by way of the sharpness of the smoke as opposed to heaviness of body (a less flattering way to put it would be that this is a harsh-smoking light to medium bodied cigar). The combination of herbal-tasting filler with a toasty, chocolate-brown wrapper, along with its creamy aromas, yields a unique flavour that evokes comparisons to chocolate mints. Not the best cigar in the world, but certainly not the worst, the Robust Duke of Devon merits being tried at least once.

Enjoyed a relaxed smoke

Nice start in 1st half. Like a regular Mac, but kicked up a couple notches. Great flavor & aroma. Picks up strength in 2nd half, but the flavor just disappears. Where did you go man?

VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS CIGAR AND KEPT TRYING ONE OVER AND OVER AND IT STILL SUCKED DO WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Smooth and tasty. One of the best tasting cigars I have ever had.
