"Storage issue?"
I don't know if it was a storage issue or just a bad batch of tobacco before, but ny second try at these went much better. It is still a macanudo, and was mild despite the "robust" promises. The flavors were much more chocolaty than before and this ended up as a smooth, easy smoking cigar. We will see what a third attempt will bring.

"Same smoke as cafe, but not smooth"
Seems strange Macanudo would venture from their trademark to make this cigar. It burned well, lots of smoke, but it was not 'Mac' mild, and the flavor was not great.

"Disgusting"
Given as part of a monthly cigar club thing.I took a few puffs and tossed it.Disgusting taste, almost like stale potato chips. It's an abomination.Downright disgustingly cheap and nasty.

"What happened here?"
I typically love Macanudo, but this smoke was a bitter bomb. As always, this Mac looks and felt great in the hand. That all eneded once I lit up though. I'm glad I did not pay much for this.

"Not Impresed"
Well, I'm disappointed. I have had some nice Mac's in the past. This cigar looks so meaty and bold, but fire it up and it tastes like a stale Marlboro. It burned nice, lots of smoke, but it had minimal flavor. I like a Mild cigar on occasion, but I don't recommend this one, especially at $5.50 a stick at the Local. I bought 2, can't see myself firing up the other any time soon. I couldn't wait for it to be gone so I can fire up something else.

"not bad"
Not a bad cigar. Has a mild cedar taste with hints of leather. It's a mild cigar and good for starters. Construction is 'acceptable', nothing special. It burnt pretty straight and i didn't have to relight it. Overpriced.

"Worthless"
Got these a year ago as a freebie. Robust huh? What a worthless excuse for a cigar let alone Robust. Talk about smoking paper and dirt. I wouldn't give these away, throw away yes, give away no.

"Huh?"
I'm not sure why these cigars are so expensive. I've found several brands that are superior to Macanudo. I realize they are somewhat of a "classic," but I think it may be time for a new classic. I didn't find this cigar very ROBUST to begin with. Not to say it was particularly bad, but the wrapper was dry, (as usual with Macanudo,) and the flavor just didn't do it for me. I guess I have to say one nice thing: great construction...

"Another typical Macanudo"
The first inch or two wasn't too shabby, but shortly thereafter the standard Mac bite of bitterness and harshness showed up like I expected. Better than most Macs, but I'm afraid that isn't saying much.

Great taste, not too mild, not too full, not too spicey. First thing that hit me was the great taste. If you love spicey food, this cigar will leave you smiling.
