Angel Cuesta is named for Angel LaMadrid Cuesta, one of the founders of the Cuesta-Rey cigar brand. The cigar was first rolled a century ago and served as the official cigar of King Alfonso XIII of Spain. Handmade in The American Room at J.C. Newman's El Reloj factory in Tampa, Florida by a team of two experienced rollers producing 150 cigars per day. The Rosado features an Ecuadorian Havana Rosado wrapper with aged binder and filler tobaccos sourced from three continents and a pigtail cap.
Angel Cuesta Shade is the companion expression to Angel Cuesta Rosado, using a Nicaraguan Shade wrapper in place of the Ecuadorian Havana Rosado. Like the Rosado, it is handmade in The American Room at J.C. Newman's El Reloj factory in Tampa, Florida by the same two-roller team producing 150 cigars per day. Shares the aged binder and filler tobaccos from three continents and pigtail cap of the Rosado.
