The black-banded Augusto Reyes Nativo rounds out the Reyes trio, distinguished by its Dominican Criollo 98 wrapper, a leaf that tends to deliver a bit more complexity and spice than the Connecticut-wrapped lines in the same family. Also introduced at the 2007 RTDA show, it was the most characterful of the three Reyes offerings on paper. The entire Augusto Reyes portfolio has been essentially invisible since that initial splash.
