CAO BX3

The CAO BX3 — 'Brazil times three' — debuted in July 2022 as a regular production line inspired by the brand's legacy of Brazilian tobacco innovation that began with CAO Brazilia and continued through the Amazon Basin limited edition. Rather than taking the obvious route of a Brazilian puro, the blending team at General Cigar's STG Estelí factory in Nicaragua layered Brazilian Mata Fina in both the wrapper and filler alongside a Brazilian Arapiraca binder, then added Honduran, Mexican, and Nicaraguan long-fillers in precise proportions to deliver character and dimension that an all-Brazilian blend couldn't achieve. The name follows the convention of the earlier X-series lineup — CX2 (Cameroon times two), MX2 (Maduro times two) — extended here to three components of the same tobacco origin.
