CAO Maduro

The CAO Maduro is one of the brand's foundational expressions, tracing its lineage to the iconic red-banded maduro that first put CAO on the map in the mid-1990s. That original blend, produced at Tabacalera Tambor in Costa Rica, was inspired by the Cuban Partagas Serie D No. 4 and earned the brand its first national recognition. The current CAO Maduro features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and a Dominican-Nicaraguan filler blend, delivering a medium to full-bodied profile of pepper, chocolate, and rich tobacco character.
