Casa Torano started as the personal house blend smoked by the Torano family themselves, and it only made its way to the public after so many visitors to the family enjoyed it that the Toranos decided to share it. Introduced at the 2004 RTDA show, it carries the kind of authenticity that comes from a blend made for personal enjoyment rather than mass market positioning. It is a genuinely interesting piece of cigar history, one of the few lines in any brand's catalog that you can say was literally the family's own smoke.
