Cielo was a joint venture between Tabacalera Perdomo and Corona Cigar Company, introduced in 2002 as a fuller-bodied Nicaraguan blend wearing a dark Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper. The collaboration brought together Perdomo's deep Nicaraguan growing and blending expertise with Corona's retail reach, making it a smart pairing for its time. It has since been discontinued, but it stands as an interesting footnote in both companies' histories.
