Cupido Criollo

The Cupido Criollo was an extension of the original Cupido line, leaning into a more accessible, value-oriented price point while keeping production in Estelí, Nicaragua. Where the core Cupido line used Sumatran wrappers, the Criollo shifted to an all-Nicaraguan blend — wrapper, binder, and filler sourced entirely from Nicaragua — giving it a more rustic, earthy character typical of Nicaraguan puros. The vitolas skewed toward heavier ring gauges, and the line was positioned as an everyday smoke for fans of the parent brand. Like the original Cupido, production ceased in the early 2000s.
