The Vintage 1997 occupies a step above the core bundle lines, offering an Ecuadorian wrapper over Dominican filler and a Mexican binder. The 1997 in the name refers to the vintage of the tobacco used in the blend — a nod to the same concept that made the Cusano 18 a calling card for the brand. Priced slightly higher than the M1 and CC lines but still squarely in value territory, it was aimed at the smoker looking for a more refined everyday smoke without crossing into premium pricing.
