Daniel Marshall

Daniel Marshall built his name in California starting in 1982, becoming one of the most celebrated humidor makers in the world — a supplier to luxury houses including Dunhill, Cartier, Tiffany, and Hermès, with a collection on permanent display at the Smithsonian. His expansion into cigars was a natural extension of that same dedication to the ritual of smoking. The cigar line began taking shape in the mid-1990s when Marshall traveled to the Dominican Republic to age tobacco and develop his signature blends. The result was the DM Red Label — a Nicaraguan puro built around Cuban-seed tobacco that is fermented four times before rolling, then aged in a humidor for a full twelve months before release. The lineup spans Dominican and Honduran blends across several label tiers, each designed with the same philosophy that guides Marshall's humidors: that the finest smoking experience requires patience and proper aging at every stage.
