Deseo is a Nicaraguan-made blend that draws on tobaccos from several growing regions — Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Peru for the filler, Ecuador for the binder, and an Indonesian wrapper — creating a multinational blend unusual for its price point. The vitola names (Zen, Karma, Bliss, Meditation) give the brand a contemplative, lifestyle-oriented identity. The combination of an Indonesian wrapper with Peruvian filler leaf was a relatively uncommon pairing in the early 2000s when the brand was active, giving Deseo a slightly different profile from the more common Dominican or Nicaraguan-centric blends on the market.
