Don Lino Africa

The Don Lino Africa was inspired by a safari trip Nestor Miranda took to the Serengeti, and it became one of Miami Cigar & Company's most distinctive and beloved lines. The blend in this database represents the original Africa formulation, made in Nicaragua with a Nicaraguan wrapper and a multinational filler drawing on Dominican, Cameroon, Mexican, and Nicaraguan tobaccos — an unusual and ambitious combination that gave the line a flavor profile unlike anything else in the Don Lino portfolio. Each vitola was named after an African animal: Duma (cheetah), Kifaro (rhino), Tembo (elephant), and Punda Milia (zebra), among others, and the packaging featured vivid African imagery. The line was eventually discontinued, then revived in 2019 with a completely reworked blend by AJ Fernandez.
