Don Tomas Classico

Don Tomas Classico represents the brand's return to its roots, launched in 2005 under General Cigar after years of the blend being stretched to accommodate the volume demands of the cigar boom. Where the original Don Tomas had drifted toward multi-country filler blends to manage supply, the Classico stripped things back to Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos — the combination that made the brand's reputation in the first place. The wrapper and binder are both Honduran, making it the purest expression of the Don Tomas heritage in the modern lineup. The Classico also offered both natural and maduro expressions, with the maduro versions using Connecticut Broadleaf. It was made at the HATSA factory in Danlí alongside fellow General Cigar brands Hoyo de Monterrey and Punch.
