Flor de Filipinas is one of the few premium cigars in this database produced in the Philippines, a country with a long but largely overlooked cigar-making history that predates many of the more recognized production regions in Central America and the Caribbean. All filler and binder tobacco comes from the Philippines, with an Indonesian wrapper finishing the outside of the cigar. The resulting blend is mild, the pricing, between one and two-and-a-quarter dollars per stick, makes these among the most affordable handmades in the database. Six vitolas are offered, covering standard formats from a half corona to a 7.5 x 52 double corona. Philippine tobacco tends toward a mild, woody, and slightly sweet character distinct from Nicaraguan or Dominican profiles.
