Gran Habano Corojo is the No. 5 entry in the core Gran Habano lineup and the boldest of the three original blends, using a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper over Costa Rican and Nicaraguan filler with a Costa Rican binder. Where the Connecticut No. 1 delivers a smooth and mild experience, the Corojo No. 5 is the Rico family's full-flavored, full-bodied flagship, delivering earthy, spicy, and complex character from first to last draw. The Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper is known for its oily sheen and concentrated flavor, and the Costa Rican filler component, sourced from the Rico family's own farms in Costa Rica, contributes an additional layer of complexity. Seven vitolas are offered, including a lancero and a substantial 7.5 x 56 Triumph. A maduro expression of the Corojo No. 5 also exists within the Gran Habano portfolio, using a Nicaraguan maduro wrapper over the same core construction.
