Guantanamera

Guantanamera is a Cuban puro produced by Habanos S.A. and rolled at the Francisco Pérez Germán factory in Havana, making it one of the few genuinely entry-level Cuban brands to offer authentic Habanos production at an accessible price point. The brand was introduced by Habanos S.A. as a way to bring new smokers into the Cuban cigar category without the cost barrier of the flagship brands. All tobacco, including wrapper, binder, and filler, is grown in Cuba, making each cigar a true Cuban puro. The name comes from the beloved Cuban folk song, one of the most recognized pieces of music in the world, and carries all the cultural weight that implies. The line covers a range of compact formats, including the Cristales, Compay, Decimos, and Puritos, none of which exceed a 41 ring gauge. The smaller ring gauges are a deliberate choice, allowing the natural sweetness and creaminess of the Cuban leaf to express itself in a shorter, more focused format suited to newer smokers or those looking for a quick smoke. The cigars are individually wrapped in a sheet of paper, a nod to the packaging tradition found across several Habanos S.A. brands.
