Gurkha Black Dragon is a Honduras-produced line built around a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper and a Cameroon binder over Dominican filler, a blend combination oriented toward the sweeter, fuller end of the spectrum. The Connecticut Broadleaf imparts the dark color and earthy sweetness associated with maduro smoking, while the Cameroon binder adds its characteristic spice and complexity underneath. Four vitolas are offered, ranging from the compact 4.25 x 52 Robusto to the massive 8.5 x 52 Grand Especial. The Special Edition Tubo at $18 is among the more accessible entry points to the Gurkha ultra-premium tier.
