Gurkha Marqueza is a Nicaraguan puro finished with a Brazilian wrapper, made in Honduras at what appears to be a Gurkha-contracted factory. The all-Nicaraguan filler and binder paired with a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper creates an unusual flavor combination, the earthy sweetness of Brazilian leaf wrapped around the peppery, full-bodied character typical of Nicaraguan tobacco. Five vitolas are offered including a distinctive Perfecto Bulbo shape and a hefty 6.375 x 58 Rothchild.
