The H. Upmann 1844 Reserve was introduced as one of the flagship expressions of the non-Cuban H. Upmann line, named for the year Hermann Upmann established his cigar factory in Havana. Produced at Tabacalera de García in the Dominican Republic, the blend features an Ecuadorian Cubano-seed wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Dominican filler, delivering a mild to medium-bodied smoke with a smooth, refined character. The line is notable for its breadth of vitolas including a Demi-Tasse, one of the smaller formats in the brand's non-Cuban portfolio.
