The H. Upmann Añejo is produced in Honduras and represents one of the brand's fuller-bodied expressions, built around an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Broadleaf binder and a three-country filler blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Honduran leaf. Released as part of Altadis' repackaged 1844 line, the Honduran origin and Broadleaf binder give the Añejo a distinctly different character from the brand's Dominican-made expressions, leaning toward richer, earthier flavors more typical of the Honduran tobacco tradition.
