Highclere Castle Victorian

Highclere Castle cigars are a collaboration between Foundation Cigar Company's Nicholas Melillo and George Herbert, the 8th Earl of Carnarvon and owner of Highclere Castle, the 5,000-acre Hampshire estate in England famous as the filming location for Downton Abbey. The collaboration debuted in 2017 with the Edwardian, followed by the Victorian in 2019. Both use a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and Nicaraguan filler with distinct wrappers evoking different eras of British cigar history. The Senetjer is a limited release celebrating the 100th anniversary of the discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb, a nod to the 5th Earl of Carnarvon who funded the 1922 excavation. The castle houses one of the largest collections of Egyptian artifacts in the world. All are produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Esteli, Nicaragua.
