Joya de Nicaragua Serie C is a step toward the milder end of the Joya portfolio, using an Ecuadorian wrapper over all-Nicaraguan filler and binder rather than the native Nicaraguan wrapper of the Antaño and Celebracion lines. The Ecuadorian wrapper smooths and slightly lightens the profile while preserving the Nicaraguan tobacco character at the core of the blend. Four vitolas are available, from a 5.25 x 46 corona gorda up to a 6 x 54 belicoso, priced between $4.55 and $6.75. The Serie C designation suggests a deliberate positioning within Joya's lineup that distinguishes it from the fuller-bodied core production while keeping the Nicaraguan heritage intact.
