La Galera Anemoi

Launched at the 2019 IPCPR show as Jochy Blanco's first Connecticut Broadleaf offering under the La Galera name, the Anemoi takes its name from the collective Greek gods of wind, each of the five sizes named after a different wind deity. The USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covers a Dominican Jacagua Corojo binder and La Canela-grown Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano filler, producing a medium to full-bodied profile with dark chocolate, oak, cinnamon, plum, and red pepper. The dark, rough-textured broadleaf wrapper gives it a rugged look that belies a surprisingly nuanced smoking experience.
