The La Galera Connecticut was one of the two founding blends when Jochy Blanco launched the brand in 2016, offering a mild to medium-bodied counterpoint to the fuller-bodied Habano. An Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper covers a Dominican Corojo binder and a filler that blends Piloto Cubano, Criollo 98, and Blanco's proprietary T-112 Dominican leaf, the latter adding a distinctive sweetness and strength that sets it apart from typical Connecticut cigars. The vitola names, shared across most La Galera lines, are drawn from the rolling room vocabulary of traditional cigar factories.
