Introduced at the 2021 PCA Convention, the Imperial Jade is the sixth La Galera line and the first in the portfolio to use a Cameroon wrapper. Jochy Blanco sourced genuine African-grown Cameroon leaf, a challenging tobacco to work with given the limited infrastructure in the growing region, and paired it with a Dominican Criollo binder from his Jacagua farm and Piloto Cubano and Criollo 98 fillers from both Jacagua and La Canela. The result is a medium-bodied cigar with the distinctive sweetness and spice that quality Cameroon leaf delivers, and a profile that stands apart from the rest of the La Galera lineup.
