La Galera Special Editions

La Galera was founded in 2016 by Jose "Jochy" Blanco, a fourth-generation Dominican tobacco grower whose Tabacalera Palma factory in Tamboril has been rolling cigars since 1936 and producing leaf for some of the most respected brands in the industry. The name itself, Spanish for "the rolling room," is a tribute to the torcedores whose skilled hands bring every cigar to life. This brand entry covers the special and limited edition releases from the La Galera portfolio, including the anniversary commemorations, the Chinese zodiac series, and other one-off productions that fall outside the core lineup. Each release reflects Jochy's ongoing experimentation and his deep respect for the craft that his family has practiced for generations.
