Los Gloriosos marks a full-circle moment for La Gloria Cubana — a collaboration with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr., the cigarmaker who transformed the brand in the 1980s and whose work defined it through the 1990s boom years before he departed General Cigar in 2009 to found E.P. Carrillo. The blend pairs an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a Nicaraguan Jalapa-Estelí binder and a Dominican-Nicaraguan filler drawing from Jalapa and Condega growing regions, aiming to capture the spirit of the early La Gloria Cubana blends that first put the brand on the map. General Cigar describes Los Gloriosos as an homage to the original La Gloria Cubana cigars of the brand's formative years.
