Firsat, the Turkish word for opportunity, is the third core line from OZ Family Cigars and the mildest entry in the portfolio, introduced in response to enthusiast demand for a lighter option. The name honors the story of Tim's parents, Cano and Esen Ozgener, who came to America on scholarships and built a life and eventually a cigar empire through hard work and perseverance. A high-priming Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper produces a golden-tan, oily leaf over an Ecuadorian Habano binder and Nicaraguan fillers from Ometepe and the Jalapa Valley. Made at Casa Carrillo in the Dominican Republic, it delivers a mild to medium profile of cedar, cream, fruit, and vanilla.
