The Partagas Cortado marks two firsts for the brand, the first Partagas produced in Nicaragua and the first to feature a Connecticut shade wrapper. Rolled at STG's Estelí factory in Nicaragua, it pairs an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper with an Indonesian binder and a four-component filler drawing from Honduras' Jamastran Valley, Mexico's San Andrés region, and Nicaragua's Condega and Jalapa regions. The result is a lighter, more approachable expression than the brand's traditional Cameroon-wrapped Dominican core, delivering hints of spice, creamy sweetness, and a peppery earthiness.
