Plasencia Alma Fuerte

The Plasencia Alma Fuerte was the flagship release that launched the Plasencia family's own brand in 2016 under the direction of the fifth generation, led by Nestor Andres Plasencia. The family's tobacco history dates to 1865 when Don Eduardo Plasencia left the Canary Islands for Cuba's Vuelta Abajo, and the brand's Cosecha numbering system counts every harvest since that founding year. After surviving the Cuban Revolution, the Sandinista conflict, and multiple forced relocations, the family rebuilt operations across Nicaragua and Honduras, becoming the world's largest tobacco producer. Alma Fuerte draws on tobaccos aged ten years from the family's own fields, delivering a bold blend of dark chocolate, plum, and cinnamon with finishing notes of oak and molasses. The Sixto I Hexagono variant features a Colorado Claro wrapper and hexagonal pressing for a tempered body with cocoa, almonds, nutmeg, and cedar.
