ROMEO by Romeo y Julieta was developed as a bolder, more complex expression under the brand umbrella, stepping away from the Indonesian wrapper used in the classic 1875 in favor of an Ecuadorian Habano leaf. Produced in the Dominican Republic and blended by the Grupo de Maestros, the filler and binder are drawn exclusively from Dominican Piloto Cubano and Olor seed varieties, two classic Cuban-heritage varietals long cultivated in the Dominican Republic, delivering a medium to full-bodied smoke with a richer, more robust character than the traditional Romeo y Julieta lineup.
