The Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua was developed by AJ Fernandez and Rafael Nodal as a bolder, all-Nicaraguan counterpart to the Dominican made Reserva Real. Released in 2020 and produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Estelí, the blend draws exclusively from Fernandez's estate farms in Jalapa, Condega, and Estelí for a full-bodied, pepper-forward profile with notes of leather, earth, and cedar. The line also includes the Midnight Twist variants, Nicaraguan puros sharing the same AJ Fernandez foundation but wrapped in a darker Oscuro style leaf for added depth and complexity.
