Saint Luis Rey Tabacales marks a departure from the brand's traditional Honduran production, becoming the first Saint Luis Rey line made in the Dominican Republic. Developed by Rafael Nodal in collaboration with the Grupo de Maestros at Tabacalera de García in La Romana, the blend pairs a Nicaraguan wrapper with a Cameroon binder, an uncommon combination, and a filler of Dominican leaf from the Navarette region alongside Nicaraguan tobacco. Nodal describes the result as 'a perfect fusion of old-world sweetness and new-world spice,' and the line is notably milder than other Saint Luis Rey expressions, positioned as an accessible premium at a value price point.
