Trinidad Santiago

The Trinidad Santiago was the first cigar released by Rafael Nodal after joining Altadis U.S.A. in 2017, and marks the brand's return to regular production after years of dormancy. Named for the city of Santiago in the northern Dominican Republic — where it is produced at Jochy Blanco's Tabacalera Palma factory, the same facility where Nodal crafted his Aging Room blends — the cigar is a Dominican puro made entirely from Habano Dominicano seed tobaccos grown by Blanco in the Cibao Valley. Cigar Aficionado awarded it a 92-point rating and placed it at #22 on their 2018 Top 25 list, making it a notable debut for Nodal's tenure at Altadis.
