"Sort of like Smuckers in Reverse"
When you have the guts to name your cigar "Nasty", you just better be sure it doesn't taste even close to nasty. Unfortunately this one, while not "nasty" is not far enough away for me. I guess this is a "concept cigar" that is if it looks nasty and that's the name, it must be great cigar. Sort of like Smuckers Jelly. Well they need to make it taste better and this is coming from an Acid Fan! This may be my least favorite Acid cigar. I'll give this cigar good marks for appearance, because they were going for the "nasty" look.
The burn and draw were the best part of this cigar.

"Great Conversation Starter"
I routinely take a Nasty to bars that have outdoor patios. This is an interesting cigar that always has people coming up to me and asking about it. The flavor is fantastic, but a bit more natural in character than other Acid cigars. The big downside is that it's only good for about a 20 minute smoke, then it's gone. For $6 per cigar, that gets a bit hefty. To add to it, the pyramid shape make it heat up fast as you smoke it. This seems to be a pretty hearty cigar that can stand up to some punishment in temp and humidity while traveling.

"Perfect burn and creamy smoke"
This is a nice little smoke, though I wish it was a little cheaper. The pyramid shape (I dont know who labeled this belicoso) creates a tunneling effect for the smoke, and seems to condense it, giving a rich and spicy flavor. Very unique, and worth trying once if you enjoy a darker smoke, as opposed to a light bodied cigar.

Nice looking little oddity. Must confess I was pleasantly surprised by the very good draw and burn characteristics. Flowery with chocolate notes, it went well enough with a couple of hurried cups of coffee this morning. Worth a try just for the experience.

"My first cigar purchase! Yes, I enjoyed it!"
The Acid Nasty was my very first online cigar purchase way back in 2004. It's not the cheapest cigar, and I treat it to be more of a "whey ya want something different" cigar. You can't drink any alcoholic beverages with it, because the flavor from the cigar is very strong. In fact, the only thing that I recommend with it is a can of Coke. The maduro wrapper imparts a tobacco sweetness here, and I must gladly say that the tobacco taste is not totally obliterated by the otherwise strong flavors that are emitted by the Nasty. The herbs, oils, hallucinogens in Nasty make for a very pleasant and unique smoking experience.

"Bad"
I picked up this cigar because of the different shape and I like other ACIDs. Also, (this is a really dumb reason) I saw other reviews on this cigar and wondered if it was really that bad. It is. It is awkward to light and hold this cigar. Draw was ok, burn was a little uneven. Taste wasn't very good. Had the typical incense like taste of other ACIDs but without the sweetness. Flowery tastes and a little spicy at the end. Quick smoke and definitely not worth it. I prefer the One, Cold Tea, or the Krush cigarillos.

"Hmmm. Not bad for an ACID"
This was my 2nd ACID smoke, the first one was a cold infused tea, this little gem just looked nice, the construction was excellent. I bought it on a whim, hoping I didn't pick a 'smelly' one! I did not detect any huge amounts of added flavor, this was just a nice short smoke. The flavor did change about halfway through into a more spicy taste, but it was a surprisingly good little smoke.

"Acid Nasty"
pre light was good...kind of turned off by the lack of the trademark acid aroma and sweet taste. lit well and burned nice and straight, fixed itself when it went crooked. Draw on this one was pretty tight. first 1/3 of the stick was very smooth and had a taste of leather with little suprises of that acid sweetness i was talking about. the last 2/3 it got harsh and spicy, possibly because of the narrowing. with abount an inch and a quarter left i tossed it for a 3 point score into the trash can.

"Ha. I figured..."
I kind of new there would be a large number of reviews titled such things as "Aptly named" and "Nasty is right". The unfortunate thing is, it's true. I'm one of the biggest fans of Acid I know, and after the Kong Cameroon I had hoped I'd never hate an Acid again. This cigar has EVERYTHING going for it but its flavor. It looks cool, it burns great, draws like a champ, and smells very nice, but good LORD does it taste bad. This does not bode well for the Red line. For now I have to say stick to your blues for all around quality, yellows for high flavor, and if you're feeling adventurous the purples.

"YES!!!"
I have been smoking for about 2.5 years now and I smoke HDM Drk Sumatra on a regular basis (very good cigar). Most people say Acid cigars are newbie smokes, WRONG!!. These are very good cigars. I was very currious and bought the sampler tin, I have smoked the Roam, Cold Infusion Tea, Blondie, and now the Nasty and all have been very impressive. I will admit they are not for everone, but I LOVE them. If you like trying things that are different you should give them a try, you might fall in love like I did or you might not. Definatly worth a shot.

I was intrigued by the name of this cigar. I should never buy on a gimmik like that. It was a poorly burning harsh flavored smoke. There were some very strange flavors pushing through, but none that seems to make we want another of these badboys. That said, I paid very little for it, and I was able to tolerate it to the end.

"Wouldn't buy with stolen money..."
Burned hot, thick chemical smell. Left an almost soapy feeling on the mouth and tasted of burnt yard waste. Nice construction, even draw, beautiful Maduro wrapper, thick white smoke and lots of flavor (though not pleasant to me). Acid may be cutting edge but this is too much over the edge. The lingering aftertaste was too much.

"Not for the purist"
A rosy scent rises from the stick the whole time, but the flavor is a very robust cocoa mixed with earthiness. With my favorite single malt (Aberlour 15yr) it was a profoundly relaxing and never bitter 45 minute smoke. Purists will hate it (witness the low average rating), but as others have said it makes a very nice change of pace from the typical cigar. I've also noted some dramatic shifts in flavor from different boxes, one I had tasted like sour dirt....not the most consistent stick.

"A good change for an occasional smoke"
I have to admit that the magazine ads got me to look at this one. I knew it wasn’t going to be your traditional cigar, but it doesn’t pretend to be either. I wouldn’t smoke this one with a group of my aficionado friends, not that I’m embarrassed to try new things around them, but the aroma maybe offensive to the other smokers. With that said, this is a great smoke for my long drive to and from work. The burn was good and it produced a good amount of smoke. It wasn’t harsh and it was pleasant without the aid of sipp’en whiskey (my favorite way to smoke a good cigar). Another reviewer stated caution when storing these in your humidor, Good advice! The spices will permeate all other cigars in the box. I will keep a few of these in my car for a drive, but that’s about it.

I am an open-minded individual, perfectly capable of seeing several sides to an issue, as any normally evolved human should. This cigar ended it for me. After several encounters with the ACID line, I have turned into Archie Bunker. My first several experiences came in the form of osmosis. I had the misfortune to smoke a beautiful AVO that had foolishly shared real estate with an ACID inside the humidor at a local Tobacconist. As a result, the AVO was ruined by virtue of its proximity to the ACID, which had hastily infused its flavors into the precious AVO, with fatal results. I soon learned that this phenomenon was all too common in humidors around the country. The spices that are used remind me of King Midas (replacing 'gold' with 'stink'), thus, it is essential that these cigars be kept away from your inventory at all costs. Dryness, damage, and injury are all preferred cigar inflictions when compared to what can happen when the ACIDs get close to one's supply, as the result is irreversible. Unlike a cheese, which can smell bad but taste delicious, the ACID offers no such redemption. Once lit, the cigar resembles a potpourri burner more than a relaxing smoke. The smoke tends to stick to all nearby surfaces, causing them to smell like a camp fire fueled entirely by the spice bottles from the foreign foods section at the grocery store. They burn hot and have a flavor that is somehow even worse than their second-hand aroma. To be fair, I must give Drew Estates credit for being inventive. They have created an original dynamic brand, with an equally unique image. Unfortunately, they tried to innovate both the image AND the fundamentals of cigar flavoring, which ultimately stretched the product too thin. A simple retooling of the image should have been the stopping point. Instead, they have crammed and forced together flavors and strengths that have no natural business with each other, producing an overly contrived and ultimately ridiculous cigar. My local smokeries have banned them, citing harmful effects on the enjoyment of other customers. The product's image is a nice attempt at modernizing the sometimes stodgy stereotype of traditional cigar manufacturing world. However, it proved too presumptuous to try to also reinvent the basics of smoke itself.

"prepare for re-entry"
Alright, for all of those who have been complaining: THESE ARE NOT FLAVORED CIGARS! They are called aromatics because the tobacco is placed in the same room as a bunch of spices and botanicals. Go buy a Rum Runner if you want a flavored cigar. Or better yet, just buy some rum.
I had the Acid Kuba Kuba the day before and liked it, but this one was just fantastic. Odd little wrapper, and looked a little oily, but it worked. Was expecting a very strong smoke but was pleasantly surprised. Hadn't smoked a cigar before this week in about a year, this cigar made me wonder why I stopped. I didn't want this cigar to finish, if I had another, I would have smoked it immediately afterward.

Harsh, burned hot...I hope I still have some brain cells left, and taste buds to enjoy 'Real' cigars...I need an aspirin & some tequila.

Funky smell and taste. Not worth the bucks, IMHO. That's all.

Aroma of dried and crushed roses. Very tasty cigar. Burns for 10 to 15 minutes, good for the avid cigar smoker that doesn't wish to spend an hour puffin.
