"Post-Dinner"
I fired this cigar up after dinner one night and found it was the perfect finish to the night and the perfect follow up to a good meal. It was full bodied, but not overbearing. Nice earthy tones in the flavor, and the burn was even throughout the smoke. I can't say I have a single negative comment; all around a fabulous cigar!

"Renaissance Cigar"
Happy days are here again! I hadn't had a really good cigar in months and was wondering if my palate had been disabled. But the Camacho Select Robusto was strong, but smooth and very, very flavorful with a moderate amount of complexity. It was like falling in love all over again. This cigar has it all, excellent construction as well as being a fine looking stick. While it might not be all things to all smokers, it's as well-balanced a cigar as I've had in many moons.

"Another great one from Camacho"
This cigar starts out kind of slow on the strength, but it sure gets stronger as you work your way down. Construction was top notch and the draw was great. The burn was even and produced a nice grey ash. Flavors of spice/pepper with toasty wood and earth flavors. Had a nice strong finish, but wasn't harsh at all. A really good smoke. Camacho, you are making a true fan outta me.

"With time"
I gave this one a little more wait time and now it is a pretty fine and smooth smoke with some nice power. I cannot wait to see what a few more months will do!

"Good Up to a Point"
Starts out with a burst of spice, a burn on the tongue and throat that borders on harsh. After an inch or so the spice mellows down though, and I’m able to enjoy the smoke. It continues to get smoother as the cigar progresses, moving from cayenne to a spicy cedar flavor to a sweet wood for a moment before entering salty territory. This cigar has very definite flavor transitions. Up to the two-thirds point I’d say this is a great cigar, especially the middle third. But the last third really goes in a strange direction and delivers an unexpected payload -- lots of salt and nicotine.

"another good smoke"
I have been trying different lines from the camacho brand and I either love it or can leave it no in between. This is a love it. Starts out with a nice burst of spice for the first few puffs. Mellows out into a rich wood flavor with a light white pepper on the palate. Has a dry clean finish. A nice german style beer goes great with this smoke. The only complaint is they seem to try and bring the strength up in the last third, but rather then flavor it's just harsh. Maybe aging will help that.

"Bah humbug!"
This is a pretty cigar, nice wrapper with light crystals on the surface. It is dark, cocoa and spicy at light and remains so throughout. Unfortunately there is an overbearing flavor of stale cigarrette smoke on the top of everything else, which made it pretty unappetizing. I've noted this in several other Camachos such as the Black and SLR lines, so I'm convinced it's not my imagination. If they could fix that I'd buy a lot of these!

"The new Punch"
I usually rail on Punch cigars as being too strong, but this one hit me as hard as any Punch has. I even had the queezy feeling that you get when you are on an empty stomach. Still, a well made cigar with some interesting flavors. Have this AFTER dinner with a dark been and you will probably be ok.

"ummm, like a great wine"
This one has a very woody taste to it, and is quite powerful. As a comparison, it is like a very good Bordeaux, rich and heavy while not harsh at all. Great burn and look too.

"Nice Addition to Line"
I got a pre-release sampler of all sizes. what is nice about the blend is that the Cameroon wrapper was more neutral than let's say the Fuente line. A bit spicy and very well aged longfiller that was creamy and complex. Excellent

"What a great smoke"
This smoke sneeks up on you. It starts out with a very medium boddied character, but towards the end, this think kicks in the after burners, big time. I think that if your a fan of stronger cigars, you'll like this one. The flavors are dry and woody and really stand by themselves nicely, and then the power kicks in.

"OK, I'm sold"
I've held off on this review because I picked up a bunch of these the second they showed up at my tobacconist, smoked one right away and was very disappointed. It was harsh and ammoniac, and I figured this was a major Camacho mis-step. I stuck the rest in the humidor for a rest. This morning I decided to try again and was rewarded with an absolutely gorgeous smoke. It still had a bit of bite on the finish, but started smooth and complex with a big creamy smoke. The burn threatened to get ugly a couple of times, but managed to right itself each time it looked to be in trouble. I'm now on my third one of these in a row, just beautiful. I don't know if the first one was just a bad stick or if the small amount of time in the humi actually managed to smooth things out a bit, but I'm getting closer and closer to believing that this might be the best line Camacho has to offer.

"Smoking one right now"
Excellent cigar. The wrapper tastes good as a Camerron should...smooth and nutty. Camacho surprises me with this one as I haven't eally been strong on their other products, except the Liberty. This is a fine value cigar that burns well and has a great flavor from start to finish...oops...I'm burning my finger tips as I draw it to the very end!

"rich, earthy, and refined"
A remarkably easy draw and produced clouds of luscious smoke characteristic of premiere boutique brand cigars. You rarely see Cameron wrappers of such dark colour. I was surprised at how refined its Honduran filler was, in that it provided great body without being harsh and overpowering.
