"Good Smoke, but is it worth the price?"
Davidoff is hard to find in my area, and when I have found them they are pricey--so I hadn't tried one yet. Luckily, a Ky Derby event I attended last night had Davidoff as on eo f their sponsors so I was graced with a couple of freebies.
I anxiously fired up the Entreacto this morning. First, the construction and appearance where beautiful. Nice oily wrapper, elegant band, and just the right "firmness" to the touch. Pre-light draw was great and the unlit cigar had a wonderful high quality tobacco aroma. It lit up quickly and burned perfect throughout, giving off ample amounts of thick, creamy white smoke--surprisingly so for a 43 guage stick!
I did downgrade construction for something that may sound "picky"....It was the most difficult band in the world to remove! It certainly wasn't going to slip off of the cigar, and I believe it was held on with super glue! I ended up destroying the nice looking band, and putting a small tear in the wrapper. Why is this such an issue? This cigar is only 3" long so you get to the band in very short order. Ideally it should slip off nicely before you light up.
Flavor is unfortunately what brought the score down a notch for this cigar. Medium-strong in body, but not at all "harsh", it just seemed to lack any variety of flavors. I wasn't really "wowed" like one would expert for a cigar with the price and mystique of the Davidoff line. The last inch burned a little hot, and left a slightly bitter aftertaste. I would try these again, but I think they are about $2.00 a stick overpriced.

"Marty is Right!!!"
I picked this up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This little stick is a true diamond with complexity and a wonderful finish. It took me 25 minutes to enjoy this perfectly constructed cigar.

"very good"
This Davidoff advertised at my tobaconist as a 15 minute smoke, for some that may be true, however for those people I have to say that you're missing out on a true diamond among gems. For me it takes around 30-35 minutes sometimes even longer. And every time I have to put one down my fingers are burnt yet the smoke is still magically somehow cool and pleasant. Construction is top notch as I have discovered that there probably are no davidoffs poorly constucted. It had notes of coffee and volumes of smoke from easy puffing and approximately 1 puff/minute. I'm usually a havanna man but I could gladly spend the rest of my days with this entreacto

"Great mild smoke"
Perfect size for me. I'll give it a solid 8.5 would be a 9 but for the price you could be smoking any half corona from that communist place.

"First Smoke"
My first cigar(not counting a small cuban I had in Mexico last month) Was recommended by saleslady at Davidoff Store in Las Vegas. Perfect size for cocktail time. Loved the flavor and had no problems with lighting-even outside. I have enjoyed three of these treats so far-next will be a Robusto

"Great morning smoke!"
Perfect smoke if you only have 15-20 minutes to relax and have a smoke. Burn is perfect and relatively cool considering its size. Taste is very coffee-friendly and the finish is light. Pricey at $6.50, but not outrageous.
