"Cubanesque"
My cigar shop got me hooked on this one. I was on a "complex" kick and sought his advice. It took me a few tries but I fell in love with this cigar. It is medium to full bodied like most LGC smokes. With the SR#6 though, the intensity increases as you smoke it. It is definately not an everyday cigar.

"Top Tier Smoke"
I lite another one and it was as good as the first one. The only downfall is you can't neglect it or the burn dies down and the draw becomes slightly tough. Smoke, ash, taste, construction were all excellent. Does have slight pepper taste, some creamy taste in the middle. I think I will buy a box and make it the mainstay in my humidor and let them age 6 months to a year. Definitely a top tier smoke.

"Better than some"
Smelled good. No re-lights. Wrapper had light grey ash, filler was white ash. Solid construction and burned almost half way before it fell. Slight, very slight taste of nutmeg, got a creamy taste half way thru but quickly vanished. Nice cigar, not the best.

"One track Cigar"
I have not had a LaGC for sometime, after smoking this one, I quickly remembered why. Very one dimensional, no complexity of taste. Solid taste/flavor from start to finish....pepper. I thought I was smoking a pepper mill. All that aside, it burnt well and draw was loose. Got somewhat harsh towards the end, produced weak smoke, and taste was nothing to brag about it.

"an event"
Forget the flowery prose, no hints of "insert-various-food-and-floral-products-here"....this is the definitive cigar. It's a big, fat pepper bomb of a stick that doesn't waste time being subtle. At the risk of sounding like a Neanderthal, this is a man's cigar, period. If you're having one of those days where every stick you light just doesn't have enough of a kick, keep a 5-pack of these handy. NOT for nOObs, do not drive, do not operate heavy machinery, this thing will kick your azz.

"Loose but a good smoke still"
This is one thick cigar, in fact the thickest of the Serie R's. The draw is a little loose, but it burns very well. Spicy at the start, it becomes more balanced as the leather, pepper, and some dark cherry flavors come together nicely. Maybe there's some licorice on the finish as well. These cigars are widely available so I believe there's a problem with consistency, which may explain why some people found these mild; I've only had issues with the draw as another stick I tried had a very, very loose one. All things considered still a pretty good smoke.

"Aged w/Kick"
THis was at the bottom of my humi and I decided to light it up. It was one of the better S-Rs. The construction was solid with lots of white smoke.

"Disappointed"
I have heard raves about this cigar. I tried it and came out disappointed. I must have received a bad cigar. Even though, I cannot see myself purchasing the 6 again. The filler was very loose, resulting in an uneven burn and needing a relight almost constantly. The draw was good though. I may try the No. 7 next.

"Pepper, pepper, pepper"
I think I must have had a bum smoke here considering other posts I've read about this cigar. I got nothing of the cream and cocoa others have mentioned; just a harsh and peppery smoke. Pre light aroma was awesome though but once lit the smoke became vry harsh and tangy. The first inch of ash peeled open like an artichoke, then required constant touch ups to burn evenly. This was quite a quick burn too considering the size of this cigar! I really couldn't find anything to recommend this smoke, especially at the $6.50 I paid and it sitting in my humi for a few months. Left a bitter aftertaste that reminded me of cigarettes. I have another that I'll try in another month or so and come back and post another review once I've smoked it.

"Good Smoke"
LaGloria Cubana Serie R #6...
Great burn/draw/construction. Started mild and stayed that way. Should have gone with the Maduro. Agree w/ all the other reviews cocoa crème flavor and a little too mild for my palate.

"I'd heard these were full bodied..."
Nope. Flavor had a nice cocoa cream flavor. Burned much faster than I thought it would for its size. Very loose, but I noticed that more on how the cigar fell apart as it burned. I did have to draw on it pretty often to keep lit.. I think they could have packed the same amount of filler into a smaller ring, and had a good cigar. The loose construction is inexcusable. Not a huge fan of smokes of this flavor profile, but when I am in the mood for something creamy, cocoa, I'll turn to a Padron rather than on of these. A real disappointment.

"Never had a good 1"
I've smoke about 8-10 different ones, and these just have no flavor or strength. They burn fast and hot because of lose filler. "I give up on these, Ms and Ns" My score is generous

"Great big smoke"
But not harsh at all.Burned very even for a 60 ring guage cigar.Tons of tasty smoke but somehow seemed milder than the #4 or #5.

"Nice finish"
This is a well made cigar I swear it held its ash for over the first third of the cigar with only one other ash dropped after the second third. A lot milder than I expected drew very well and had a nice aroma. Has a LaGloria taste to it but a lot smoother than the LaGloria DR Maduro. Not as oily either. Just a nice smoke that will last you a while to finish.

"Enjoyable LGC"
Good looks, full body, great burn, wonderful aroma but the flavor was just not as well developed as I had expected. Very clean finish.

"Disappointing finish"
Looked good with a nice wrapper, although it cracked above the cap when using a punch on it. First third was surprisingly mellow, but smooth, with a nice draw. Held decent ash to 2". Second third picked up nice spice with cedar flavors. Very enjoyable. At the last third, couldn't keep lit without smoking very hard. Flavour turned a little sour. The beginning and middle were enjoyable; the end was a big disappointment.

"mediocre"
Not up to my expectations. Bland beginning, a bit of tang and goodness from the middle to end. Construction o.k. at best. Uneven burn. Regular La Glorias are more flavorful and a better value.

"Slow start but good end"
Started sort of rough and bitter. After a bit, mellowed into a spicy, full bodied flavor. Burned evenly with lots of smoke. Never went out. Hot only at the very, very end. Overall, quite satisfying

"A Real Cigar!"
My kind of cigar. Not the maduro, but the Natural. Big gauge on this one. That's why a lot of bluish white smoke with a good aroma. Its flavor lasted on my palate almost "forever." Super close to a CAO Anniversary, but with a hint of cedar n spice. Will get more . . . if I can find them. One of my favorites. Highly Recommend.

"Nice flavorful smoke"
Other than a slightly tight draw, this was an overall very nice smoke. Nice medium to full body flavor, even burn, nice white ash, consistent from start to finish.

"Great Cigar"
This is a great smoke, esp for the money. Has a very rich, textured flavor to it. I rarely smoke several of the same cigar, because I like to try many different ones, but this has become my favorite, and I'll probably by a box of them soon.

Lots of smoke, but of course this is a 60 ring gauge dark beauty (but not the Maduro). Medium to strong but smooth. I liked this alot.

The best cigar I have smoked that was not of Cuban origin in years. I would put this cigar up against C.A.O anniversary and Padron Anniversary, and for the price it almost unbelievable. It's ring size is quite extreme but if you like big cigar that are
